Why the LifeLadder Thor®
Impact-resistant and low-maintenance
The design stands out clearly from traditional solutions and is resistant to impact and heavy use.
Modular and lightweight
The modular design ensures a lightweight structure and easy installation. In the event of damage, you simply replace the damaged module.
Sustainable use of materials
Carefully selected materials ensure a long service life and are in line with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

Modular construction
The LifeLadder Thor® is constructed from reinforced plastic modules in a bright yellow, UV-resistant colour. The design combines the flexibility of a rope ladder with the sturdiness of a traditional marine ladder. The modules are interconnected by synthetic ropes and held apart by compressible rubber spacers.
TOP CAP
The finale of the whole thing.
MODULE
Made in one piece from reinforced plastic. (per 30 cm)
SPACER
Compressible and resilient rubber.
ROPE
Static, 2 tonnes load capacity each.
TENSIONING MECHANISM
For tightening the rope.
USE
Both fixed quays and pontoons
From pallet to quay wall
The length of a LifeLadder Thor® can be easily adjusted to suit any location: simply unfold it, assemble it and tension it.
DELIVERY
Delivered on pallets, strung together and folded. Each ladder is individually packaged to ensure efficient unloading at the installation site.

ASSEMBLY
The length can be easily adjusted to suit any location and customer: simply unfold, assemble and tighten.

INSTALLATION
Its light weight makes manual installation easy and reduces the need for a crane. A 3.6-metre ladder weighs just 19.5 kg.
LightUnit
A solar panel charges the battery during the day, and the LightUnit’s energy-saving algorithm ensures it operates all year round. When the battery is fully charged, the LightUnit will operate for more than 30 nights, even if the solar panel is temporarily covered. It is mounted using two stainless steel brackets that are easily attached to the top rail of the LifeLadder Thor®.
24/7 Visibility
Completely independent of the mains supply or batteries.
Robust Materials
Reinforced polypropylene, waterproof (IP68).
365 Days a Year
Optimised for reliable performance all year round.
