GFE at METSTRADE 2026: bringing smarter water safety to the international marine industry

From 17 to 19 November 2026, GFE will be exhibiting at METSTRADE in Amsterdam. You’ll find us at stand 09.225, where we will present our latest solutions for safer, smarter and better-managed waterfront environments.
METSTRADE is the world’s largest B2B trade show for marine equipment and brings together more than 20.000 marine professionals and nearly 1.700 exhibiting companies in RAI Amsterdam.
For GFE, however, taking part is about much more than exhibiting our products.
It is about helping to put water safety higher on the international agenda.
Why is GFE taking part in METSTRADE?
Waterfronts are changing.
Marinas, ports, waterfront developments, leisure areas and public spaces around water are becoming busier and more sophisticated. At the same time, the equipment intended to help save a life in an emergency must remain accessible, visible and ready for use.
That is exactly where GFE wants to make a difference.
Our focus is on practical solutions that help organisations improve safety around water, from professional lifebuoy cabinets and rescue equipment to connected solutions such as the Smart Lifebuoy.
METSTRADE gives us the opportunity to discuss these developments directly with the international marine community.
From rescue equipment to smart water safety
Traditional lifesaving equipment remains essential.
But we believe the future of waterfront safety goes further.
Organisations responsible for marinas, ports and other waterside locations increasingly need to know not only where safety equipment is installed, but also whether it is present, accessible and ready when it is needed.
This is why GFE combines robust physical rescue equipment with smarter ways of managing and monitoring that equipment.
At METSTRADE 2026, we want to show how this approach can help waterfront operators move from simply installing lifesaving equipment towards actively managing water safety.
Meeting the people shaping tomorrow’s waterfronts

Another important reason for participating is international collaboration.
METSTRADE is the international platform where professionals from the leisure marine industry come together to connect, collaborate and discover innovation.
For GFE, those conversations matter.
We are looking forward to meeting:
marina owners and operators
harbour and port professionals
yacht clubs and leisure marine organisations
marine equipment distributors
waterfront developers
safety professionals
facility and asset managers
municipalities and public authorities
international distributors and partners
Because safer waterfronts are not created by one product or one company. They require cooperation between manufacturers, operators, authorities and the people responsible for maintaining these environments every day.
